This yearâs Convention is scheduled to take place for 5 days in Pride Inn Paradise Hotel in Mombasa between Monday 23rd October 2023 and Friday, 27th October 2023 under the theme of âThe Role of County Public Service Boards in Advancing Good Corporate Governance for Sustainable Developmentâ. At least 250 members of the CPSBs are expected to participate with a view to making contributions and resolutions to assist in Economic Development.
The program will be structured around the following key thematic areas, with expert and distinguished speakers invited to facilitate in each area:
1.Managing Human Capital in the Counties: Charting the best industry benchmarks
2.Leveraging Technology to Improve Service Delivery in the Counties
3.Good Corporate Governance in the Counties: Challenges and opportunities for improvement
4.Recognizing and rewarding Productivity and Performance management in the Counties
5.Occupation and Stress Management: Managing Cognitive, Emotional and Behavioural Health in the Workplace
6.Managing the Affirmative Action and Diversity in the County Public Service
7.Managing the Retirement Benefits for members of CPSBs in the Counties
8.The Role of the CPSBs in managing the Climate-Change Management in the Counties
THE REQUEST TO THE DEPUTY PRESIDENT TO PRESIDE OVER THE OFFICIAL OPENING CEREMONY
As we embark on the planning of this event, our request is hereby made to His Excellency the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya, Rigathi Gachagua, to consider gracing the event and presiding over the official opening Ceremony on Monday 23rd October 2023 at Pride Inn Paradise Hotel in Mombasa City.
The Detailed program and other relevant details of the event will be shared in due course but we hereby send our official request for his earliest acceptance to be our Guest of Honour at this event to enable us to plan more effectively.
